1. About this website
philatelynumismatic.com is operated by Centre for Philately & Numismatics, a specialist dealership in rare coins, banknotes, postage stamps and postal covers, trading from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India under proprietor Smt. Lata Lakshmi Kant Jain.
This website is a showcase and enquiry platform. It is not a shop. No purchase is made, no payment is taken and no contract of sale is formed through this website. All transactions — if any — are concluded in person at our counter or by direct private agreement.
2. Catalogue and pricing
2.1 Availability
Every item in our catalogue is, by its nature, unique. An item marked as available was available at the time the page was last generated. We cannot guarantee that any item is still available at the moment you view it. Items can sell at the counter while the website remains unchanged.
2.2 Prices
Where a price is shown, it is indicative and subject to change without notice. Many items are listed without a displayed price; these are available by enquiry. No price shown on this website constitutes a legal offer capable of acceptance.
2.3 Sold items
Items marked as sold remain published for the benefit of researchers, collectors and students. A sold record is historical documentation, not an offer to re-sell.
2.4 Catalogue data accuracy
We take care to describe items accurately. Grade assessments, catalogue references and attributions represent our professional opinion and may differ from the opinion of other experts. We do not warrant that any description is complete or error-free. Serious buyers are encouraged to examine items in person before any commitment.
3. Enquiries and the buying process
Submitting an enquiry — whether by WhatsApp, telephone, email or any form on this website — does not reserve an item, constitute an offer, or create any obligation on either party. Items are held only upon explicit written confirmation from us, and for no longer than 48 hours unless otherwise agreed.
4. Valuations (“Sell to Us”)
A valuation provided through the “Sell to Us” form or at the counter is an expression of our professional opinion at that moment. It is not a binding offer to purchase. Market conditions, subsequent examination of the item, and provenance questions may cause the final offer, if any, to differ from the indicative valuation.

5. Want List
Registering a Want List entry does not create a contract. A notification that matching stock has arrived is not an offer to sell at any particular price. Items remain available to all buyers until a sale is confirmed.
6. Intellectual property
All photography, catalogue copy, layout and design on this website are the property of Centre for Philately & Numismatics or its licensors. Catalogue references (Stanley Gibbons, Krause, and similar) are used under fair dealing for the purpose of identification and remain the property of their respective publishers.
You may not reproduce, redistribute or use any catalogue photography for commercial purposes without our prior written consent. Photographs of specimens are provided for identification and reference only; they may not be used as a basis for reproduction or manufacture.
7. Third-party links
This website may link to external resources (catalogue databases, numismatic societies, postal history archives). We have no control over those sites and accept no responsibility for their content or availability.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Centre for Philately & Numismatics shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from reliance on information published on this website, including catalogue descriptions, price indications or availability status.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from use of this website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the website after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
